Modifications and Customisations

One of the major advantages of ordering from a made to order brand is that you get a unique piece for you. The item you recieve is only made when you order, especially for you. And you can take that uniqueness of your piece ecven further.

Because each piece is individually cut by hand, by a human using our made in house patterns and sometimes free hand cutting, and sewn for you in our studio, we can make slight modifications to our styles and patterns to make your custom made piece fit your body, yle and your aesthetic even better.

So like the dress but not sure about the length, we can shorten or engthen it for you by a few inches. Or maybe you’re not sure about the coour? Pick a different colour from our fabric bar. Or add a tiny little detail to add a unique detail to the dress

Size Modifications

Our pieces are made using our standard size chart, (See below). We use this to size all of our pieces and you can use this chart to determine what’s the best size for you to order. However, if youre not sure what your size is or prefer a more custom fit, you can send in your measurements to us using the form on our FAQs page or email us your measurements at modebytaylor@gmail.com. We will use those measurements to make your piece to fit you. Please bear in mind when using our size chart or sending in your measurements that most of our pieces have built in corsetry and we use thick non stretch fabric so please do not size down or send in measurements that are slightly tighter as this may lead to your item not fitting.

Custom Details

We are happy to add a few extra custom details to our made to order pieces for you. Like straps on our strapless dresses or slight changes to the neckline. We can make these small changes at no added costs for you.Larger structural changes will. however, be charged. Email us at modebytaylor@gmail.com to discuss extra custom details before placing your order.

Colour

Most of the time, you love the style but you want it in a different colour, or you bought the original colour and loved it so much you have to have it in another colour. We are so here for that. And once again, since we only cut and make an item after the order is placed, we can make it for you in a different colour. All you have to do is place your order an email us at modebytaylor@gmail.com immediately after with your order number and the colour number of the replacement fabric you want to use.
